The signs and symptoms of mesothelioma

Many symptoms are not easily identified. You can mistake them for other common conditions. Many people are diagnosed within 3 months of reporting symtpoms.

• Abdominal pain or chest pain
• Pain in the lower back or side
• trouble breathing and inability to catch your breath
• a troublesome cough
• blood produced during a cough
• trouble swallowing
• hoarness or raspy voice
• fever
• fatigue
• weight loss
• swelling of the arms or face

Many patients with mesothelioma report pain in the lower back or the along the side. Other common symptoms include shortness of breath. In addition, there have been reports of trouble swallowing, fever, cough, fatigue, sweating, wieght loss, coughing up blood, hoarseness, swelling of the arms, swelling of the face.
